Winter Nails!

I am in love with the manicure I did on myself this week. It's very simply but I love the colors. They are more winter colors than Christmas themed, which is exactly what I was going for.

I did this in gel polish over acrylic nails. For my acrylic nails I did a simple clear tip with natural powder. Then I proceeded to apple the gel polish.

I didn't do a step by step tutorial on this one because it's very simple. I think next week will be something more challenging for myself!

Fall Nail Idea

I got this idea initially off of Pinterest. I did a copy cat of it and here is my version. I have always like the idea of dark browns for fall.

I did this in gel polish over acrylic nails. I did the acrylic nails on my own and someday I plan to post a video tutorial on how to do your own acrylics. It is so very easy and cheap! I was not a huge fan of getting acrylic nails because of the cost and damage it does to your nail. When you do it on your own it seems you don't need to drill the natural nail as much and it causes little to no damage.

Anyway, back to the subject at hand. I did not take pictures during this one, but it's pretty simple I think you can figure it out! Enjoy :)
